Is the video library really free?
Yes. All 12 Rāsi and all 27 Nakshatra explanations are free to watch on YouTube, with no paywall and no account. They always will be.
What is the difference between Rāsi and Nakshatra?
Your Rāsi is your moon sign — one of 12 divisions of the zodiac. Your Nakshatra is your birth star — one of 27 finer divisions. The Nakshatra is more specific and, in Vedic astrology, often more revealing.
Why sidereal and not the Western zodiac?
The sidereal zodiac measures planets against the fixed stars where they actually sit. The tropical zodiac used in Western astrology has drifted roughly 24° from the real sky. Vedic astrology uses sidereal, with the Lahiri ayanamsa.
